The office has a more commercial bias in terms of work load and has obtained and acted for several large clients. The continuing expansion saw the opening of the Newbury office 2 years later. The Swindon office continues to offer professional building surveying services and is supported by staff from the other offices when the need arises. The professional staff carry out homebuyer and building surveys, dilapidations, commercial surveys, schedules of condition and design works for new build and refurbishment projects. The practice has a specialist Party Wall Surveyor who, based in the litigation department of our Cheltenham Office, provides party wall advice acting for building and adjoining owners throughout the region. We also provide project management services, contract administration and site supervision. We work on a wide variety of building types from historical and listed buildings to domestic dwellings and commercial premises. We also regularly assist in carrying out statutory applications including planning permission, listed building applications, building regulations applications, conservation area and advertising applications. We can provide advice in respect of asbestos, DDA compliance and carry out fire risk assessments and act as CDM Coordinators.
