Display Energy Certificates (DEC) show the actually energy use of a building and help the public see how energy efficient it is. This is based on the energy consumption report recorded by gas, electricity and other meters. It is accompanied by an Advisory Report (AR) that lists the cost effective measures to improve the energy rating of the building. .
